man I hope I do not crash my site again. I am doing this in stages so you may see some odd stuff in the next few weeks.
These are the photos I took t the Slam with my brand new toy. I am having to remove the date stamp off of most the stuff cause i did not even know I had one. Learning more Photoshop and Paint stuff. I think once I learn how to use it this camera will be great.

I enjoyed the Haiku stuff a lot more than I would have expected.

Usually haiku are written in three lines. It's possible to do
haiku in 2 lines though, as well as in one line or in more than
three.5-7-5 syllables in 1st-2nd-3d lines.

I disagree. But I do not know all the forms and rules of Haiku so I might just not get it. I just did not like his stuff as much.

Some of them were funny and some of them were very sad.
There were a few Polictical Haiku also.

Have you noticed the headbands?
There were Red and Not Red headbands and flags. That is how the judges voted.

The Haiku comp was very ritualistic.But I do not know how much of that was traditional and how much was slam invented.

Nothing against the individual stuff, I liked it a lot; but my favorite performances were the group pieces.

but others had a lot of personality to their readings.
